Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) health care professionals spoke this month to about 100 ninth-graders at Colton High School’s new Health Education Academy of Learning program at the school’s career day. Doctors, nurses and other health care professionals discussed the required education and skills for a career in health care. ARMC developed a partnership with the high school to help address a critical shortage of health care professionals in the county. The collaboration also helps achieve the Countywide Vision’s regional goal to partner with all sectors of the community to support the success of every child from cradle to career.
