The Inland Empire Economic Partnership this month welcomed its inaugural Regional Leadership Academy class of future business and government leaders. During the yearlong program, students will learn about quality of life issues affecting the region and opportunities to make improvements through collaboration across sectors. The Academy addresses a priority identified by a group of business leaders attending a Countywide Vision meeting last year – local businesses should regain their tradition of civic engagement and help train the next generation of business and community leaders.
