The San Bernardino County Library invites you to join us at the Lewis Library & Technology Center in Fontana as we slip beneath the waves for an Under The Sea fun filled family event! Dive with us into a celebration of literacy as we invite Princess Ariel, Prince Eric, Ursula and Captain Jack Sparrow to be part of the festivities! Don’t forget your camera! Enjoy the Oceans Rock show and participate in an ocean dig for your very own seashell or fossil. Join us for a variety of fun crafts, face painting, balloon artists, a live DJ and more!
This event is another opportunity to celebrate and support the Countywide Vision’s literacy campaign, Vision2Read. The Under The Sea event will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 4 to 7 p.m. Be certain to bring your library card, as every 15 items checked out earns you an opportunity drawing ticket for a chance to win awesome incentives. Thirty items earns you two tickets plus a special reward. All activities are free and open to all ages.
