The Inland Congregations United for Change recently unveiled the Inland Empire P-16 Partnership for Education – a collaboration of parents, students, churches and educators in San Bernardino and Riverside counties committed to increasing high-school graduation and college-going rates. The faith-based, social-justice group spent a year and a half forming the partnership to improve programs, curriculum and parent participation from preschool through college. To date, University of California, Riverside; California State University, San Bernardino; Riverside Community College District; San Bernardino Community College District; San Bernardino City Unified School District; Coachella Valley Unified School District; and Chaffey Joint Union High School District have agreed to support the partnership.
